Amitabh Bacchan's Next Awaited Film - Buddha Hoga Tera Baap

MUMBAI: Actor Amitabh Bachchan promoted his upcoming film 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap' (Your Dad might be old!) in entertainment capital Mumbai on Saturday.

In the movie, Bachchan essays the role of a retired assassin based in Paris . He is asked to return to India for one last assignment, where he comes face to face with his past.

Bachchan said the movie was completed within two months and added that it was co-produced by his own, AB Corporation Limited (ABCL).

In the movie, Bachchan said he was playing the role of a flamboyant, fun-loving, cool and relaxed man, who wears colourful clothes.

"He is a slightly arrogant and tends to get edgy on certain occasions. He gets edgy whenever someone calls him Buddha (old man), and he retorts by saying 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap' (Your Dad might be Old)," said Bachchan.

The 68-year-old Bachchan has also lent his voice in the title track of the film. The track was picturised on him and on the beautiful actress of the yester years Hema Malini.

It is worth mentioning that Bachchan has already starred in more than 150 films.

Complementing film director Poori Jagannath for the movie, Bachchan said that it had been made in a very systematic and disciplined manner.

The movie stars Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Sonu Sood, Prakash Raj, Minissha Lamba and Sonal Chauhan.

The film is to be released on July 1.
